Popping eyes, spitting mouths and dreamlike visions. With Force and Noise is a solo performance on anger; its strength and its futility.
‘I feel like there was a day that I was angry but I can’t remember what or why anymore, I don’t know, maybe I was just hot.’
We see her special costume that lays the chaos on her skin. We listen to her softly speak, sing, spit. She subtly unhinges herself. Playfully making time to draw out and witness a complex emotional experience.
With Force and Noise was made using verbatim, automatic writing, embodied movement, costume design informed by research into protest, punk and psychology.
