(Un)common Neighbours (Book Launch)
Fri 8th Feb | 18:00 | St Peter’s Church
We invite you to the launch of (Un)Common Neighbours and an evening of discussion and performance around mapping as an artistic tool with participant artists and invited guests.
Marking the end of the Common Ground training and research project is the publication of the book (Un)Common Neighbours. The book addresses some of the core questions that arose over the year’s work around locality, short-term engagement and the role of arts for communities of place while also serving as a chronicle of a process. It is co-edited by Dr. Daria Akimenko together with Kalamoira Douraneu, Orlaith Treacy, Catarina Rebelo and Eszter Némethi and features specific case studies developed throughout the year in North Main Street, Cork, and Népszínház Street, Budapest.
(Un)Common Neighbours is published by Postmodernsquare and it was developed as part of the Common Ground supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
